The Newhouse Graduate Newspaper Fellowship for Minorities
These awards are made annually to two minority students who wish to enroll in the Magazine, Newspaper, and Online Journalism program and pursue a newspaper career. Only students who have majored in subjects other than journalism at the undergraduate level are eligible.
School of Education High-Needs Fields Scholarship
This scholarship offers graduate students in teaching programs in science, math, special education, literacy, and rehabilitation counseling up to one-third of the cost of tuition. The scholarships are available to all qualified full-time master’s students and part-time master’s students who are Syracuse City School District employees.
Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Fellowships
The Public Policy and International Affairs Program (PPIA) is a not-for-profit organization that has been supporting efforts to increase diversity in graduate studies in public policy and international affairs, and public service for over 40 years. The Maxwell School offers admitted M.P.A., M.A. in international relations, M.P.A./M.A. in international relations dual degree, and M.A. in public diplomacy and global communications applicants who have successfully completed a PPIA Junior Summer Institute program a minimum 50% tuition scholarship. The Lois & Martin Whitman Graduate Scholarship Fund
The Lois & Martin Whitman Graduate Scholarship Fund provides scholarship and financial assistance to African American or Latino students who enroll in a graduate program in the Whitman School of Management.
